IndieFilipino's Indie Rocks Concert 21 March in the University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P).
Alexis and his friends from the UA&P School of Management put up an indie rock concert in their school. I was bothered by the fact that it was going to be held in a non-smoking-nor-drinking auditorium, but I was still excited to go, mostly to see people from the Wednesday Group. :) We were only able to catch a bit of Jazz Improve ("Improv" ba or "Improve"? That was the question.), Narda and Edgar Allan Hoes, and I was very impressed with the last 2 bands. So impressed that I want to use their music for GamePlan.
The concert ended pretty early, though. We walked to Pearl Drive to find Ramon sitting in Hot Shots, thinking that he was just fashionably late. Sorry, tapos na. We drank a bit...well, maybe a lot...and I had so much fun. I hadn't seen the group in almost a month and it was so nice to hear them talk passionately about movies and comics again. Carlo came a little later, and Quark passed by some time before we decided to head home. The turnout was so good, I think my Wednesday Group withdrawal was cured. Yey! *Poster by Meg. ;) .:Menu:.
